I have decided to try something different with my herb planing this season. I am doing a selection of herbs in the mint family, chocolate, pineapple, spearmint, peppermint and apple mint. So far. I am growing lavender to throw in a pitcher of lemonade and more importantly a pitcher of lemon drops. I will infuse some alcohol with the chocolate mint and also one with cucumber.
Maybe infuse tequila with a pepper and cilantro. Will give it a whirl.
At EVOE last week had the squash salad with seeds and balsamic vinegar, salt and some mint and it was a perfect blend of sweet and salty and perfection. I cannot express more fervently that the deviled eggs brilliant Kevin turns upside down and griddles are beyond breathtaking. A must try
