crazy day, not over yet

after watching Olivia at her welcome to Japan ceremony in the middle of the night, found out that there had been an earthquake just before the orientation. she looked fine, doesn’t scare easily.

Shot today at Little Bird. Crowded, people filling up the place all afternoon. Food looked great, shot a large plate of steak and tomatoes, LB style. Had a glass of Penner Ash Pinot, just because I can.


Tomorrow shooting a Plate and Pitchfork dinner with Adam Sappington and Matt Lightner, perhaps one of the last meals he prepares here in Portland.


Found out the secret of the uber awesome gin and tonic at Roost. A splash of St-Germain elderberry  liqueur  created in the artisanal French manner from freshly handpicked elderflower blossoms.
