four more great bruschettas

i almost always make mine using good quality rustic bread, grill a little more than lightly on both sides and then rub one side with peeled garlic cloves. I drizzle with very good olive oil and sprinkle with coarse salt

 

For me, nothing crazy, just  ingredients that are flavorful and fresh.

grilled vegetables, such as eggplant, zucchini  or peppers sprinkled with red pepper flakes and grated aged asiago

goat cheese with arugula pesto

sauteed shallot and  mushroom trio with truffle salt or truffle oil

ricotta drizzled with honey and chopped toasted walnuts

 

Buy some Lillet, chill, and serve on the rocks with a slice of orange
