Excellent Poutine tonight at Victory Bar. Had the green salad and loved the mustardy vinaigrette. The spaetzle was loaded with fried shallots and completely yummy. Recipe will be in book. Tomorrow going to shoot some sandwiches at Olympic Provisions, then over to Roost to work with Megan. Did I mention that Roost has the best salads in the world. I am not usually a salad lover, but these two, the iceberg with a chop of green beans blue cheese bacon avocado tomatoes, egg and scallion cream and the shaved celery and asparagus with arugula, Parmesan and lemon are too good to be salads, something else has got to be going on. And the fried zucchini with dill dressing is the way it should be done, not watery, super crunchy and makes it seem like zucchini actually does have flavor after all.
