Rum Bar

this relatively new hot spot on the east side shares the magic with Beaker and Flask and their adorable chef Ben Bettinger. The small menu has everything a drinking person requires, and then some.  Amazing and pretty pickled eggs, shrimp cocktail, wonderful chicken liver mousse, mussels and clams with chorizo and the best egg salad and ham salad sandwiches in the world. The whole world.

The drinks are super tasty and strong, heading to bed, but wow, the Rum Club Daiquiri went down too easily, and I got hammered. Mike Shea is a genius behind the bar. everything he mixes turns towards Nirvana.

The space is great fun.   Love it.
