Carlos and Ines are hitting the road tomorrow after 2 months. We had a farewell dinner at 23 Hoyt. The food is a fall root vegetable paradise. Beets, celeriac, sweet potatoes…Mussels were giant and fresh and cooked in a beer broth. Pork cheeks were outstanding and the donut holes and ice cream with caramel sauce a perfect end to the meal. The place is big and always busy. Amber is a talented creative chef.
