eat this now, serves 4

1 lb. pasta, perhaps linguine

Salt

1/3 cup olive oil, more if needed

6 garlic cloves, minced

1/3 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley

1 teaspoon crushed hot pepper flakes

 

Heat a big pot of water with some salt. In a medium skillet heat the oil. Add and cook garlic, 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the parsley and pepper flakes. Toss with the drained hot pasta. Parmesan if desired.  Feel free to add some cooked broccoli, or any other veg you like.

 

For dessert pour a single espresso over a scoop of ice cream that works well with coffee. I like chocolate, vanilla, coffee, butter pecan, coconut, hazelnut, chocolate chip…
